Thumbs Up Frank Barnes!
Thumbs Up Frank Barnes!
Supporting Frank Barnes School
Are you itching to do something? Here’s how you can support the
campaign to secure the future of Frank Barnes School:
1 Word of mouth and more pupils for the school!
Please tell all your friends and any parents of deaf children you know about the school and encourage them to visit.
The more deaf children we have at the school, the stronger our case for a re-build as a Regional Centre!
We have Open Days each term – contact school via phone/ minicom 020 7586 4665 or see www.fbarnes.camden.sch.uk for details.
2 Sign our petition!
Please join our petition on this website.
The petition is now closed, and has been sent to the Government for their consideration.
3 Meet your MP!
Please arrange to meet with your MP or local councillor. The contact information for your MPs can be found on the website www.writetothem.com
We have provided a handout for your MP to explain what the school wants: HandoutforMPs.pdf
Please ask your MP or councillor to write to:

Great Smith Street, London, SW1P 3BT
-Lord Andrew Adonis,

Department for Children, Schools and Families,

5 Make a statement about the school!
Are you an ex-pupil of Frank Barnes School?
You can help us by making a statement explaining how important Frank Barnes School was to you as a child. What difference did the school make to your education?
Please contact Polly Burton, Parent Action Group Co-ordinator, polly@pollyburton.co.uk, and we’ll make the arrangements.
Thanks for your support - we believe that
every deaf child matters.
